Review: Nyx 2013 Natural & Smokey Palette

So the Nyx 2013 Collection came out around January, i think. They came out with 5 new eyeshadow palette, well the other three are more like a quad than a palette. The Natural and Smokey Palette caught my eye, so i decided to get them.
- Natural Palette
When i first saw it i thought it was the perfect palette for everyday use, it does. However the texture is really chalky and it's not that pigmented as you can see from the swatches.
- Smokey Palette
The Smokey Palette in the other hand, is better than the Natural one. Some of the shades are still chalky, but some of them glides on really nice and pigmented. I really love the pearly white shade on this palette.
My thoughts:
The packaging is really small and compact also get-down-to-business. Both palettes came with a dual ended sponge tip applicator, which i dont really use, they're hard to clean and collects bacteria so i prefer using my brushes. Also, it has no mirror.
The price is super affordable. So this is one of those you-get-what-you-pay kind of palettes.
The texture is really chalky
The color payoff is not that good
Overall:
The Natural Palette 6.5/10
The Smokey Palette 7.8/10

I'm looking forward to try their new makeup setting spray, they came out with a matte finish and a dewy one. Some people say it's comparable to Urban Decay De Slick & All Nighter, i don't know about that yet.
