Garnier BB Cream (Indonesian Version) Review

Garnier recently released a BB Cream in my country. I've wanting to try the US version of this product since i heard the coverage is pretty good and comparable to Smashbox BB Cream, but then this came out. It is extremely inexpensive (which actually make me wonders what actually in it...) but it's so small, so maybe that's why it's so cheap.

It claims

"New Garnier all-in-1 perfecting cream, the Garnier BB moisturizer that gives you an amazing fairer-looking skin with a single gesture, revealing the perfect-looking skin in a flash."

First Impression

When i applied it i noticed that the consistency is kinda runny, it gives a really light coverage, i'd say light to medium. I do love how it feels on my skin, it feels light and not oily like most bb cream (at least on me). It gives a really natural finish, yet it covers up some of my hyper pigmentation.

It's perfect for an everyday basis because of the natural finish. The longevity is not really good, since i have oily skin. I have to blot 2-3 times throughout the day, but that isn't so bad, i can bear with it.

I love the fact that this product is anti UVA and UVB (UVB protects you from getting sunburn and UVA prevents your skin from getting tanner (at least that's what i know), if you're not an Asian, you probably won't understand why most Asian girls want a pale, doll-looking skin, i know i do, i try as hard as i can to get away from the sunlight).

Overall: 8/10

Pros
* SPF 20 with anti UVA and anti UVB
* Natural finish
* Light
* Affordable

Cons
* The longevity is not so good on oily skin
* The coverage is too light

You can get it at your nearest Drugstore or any supermarket such as Guardian, Century, Giant, Carrefour, or Hypermart  (Indonesia)
It retails for IDR 16.500 (US $1.60) - i wasn't kidding when i said it's extremely cheap.

Xoxo
