Here, i'm going to mention some brands and their most popular products. Every brand has their own specialties and top rated products. These are some of them:

1. Mac Cosmetics
As you know, of course, most of the mac products are kinda like the bomb for a beauty junkie. You can watch tons of beauty gurus on youtube filming their makeup collections and filled with mac products. I personally like mac, but i'm not crazy about them. Most of makeup artist's kit usually filled with mac foundation, powder, eyeshadow, blush, lipstick and things like that. Generally all of mac products are equally popular. But in my opinion, their most popular ones are the lipsticks and face base such as foundation and powder. The prices below are mac US prices, here in Indonesia the prices are a little bit higher, you can get it from maccosmetics.com or Mac counters at the mall (Metro, Pacific Place or Seibu, Grand Indonesia)

2. Urban Decay
UD are mostly famous for their eye products such as the UD Primer Potion and The Naked Palette 1&2. Every beauty junkie in the whole wide world probably known this brand for the Naked Palette. 
The UD Primer Potion is my all-time favorite eye primer. I bought urbay decay products from urbandecay.com and ebay , because no, there's no UD in Indonesia.

3. Bobbi Brown
I recently went to a Bobbi Brown's Private Workshop and bought their newly released foundation which is the Long-Wear Even Finish Foundation. It is by far my favorite foundation, it last all day long and give a perfect coverage. When i want to splurge i will definitely splure on face products because that's the base of my makeup. Bobbi Brown is famous for their under eye concealer and also gel liner. I tried the concealer kit, i like it but it kinda give me the same effect as my Benefit Erase Paste so i'm not gonna spend that much money for a higher concealer. The gel liner is awesome, they last forever and easy to use. But bobbi brown products are pricey. But if you're willing to spend more money, then it's cool. 4. NARS Cosmetics
NARS is famous for the blushes. NARS Orgasm Collection is the most popular ones especially the blush. Some of makeup junkies are obsessed with NARS. I'm obsessed with NARS. NARS fans are mostly teenagers, but it is more expensive than other popular brands such as Urban Decay, Benefit, or Too Faced. NARS also famous for the blush-bronzer duo which is orgasm and laguna bronzer. Not available in indonesia. (narscosmetics.com)

5. Make Up For Ever
Another face product alert here. MUFE is famous for their HD Foundation and HD Powder which is a translucent powder (powder that has no color/transparent for more of a natural finish). I actually planned to get the MUFE HD foundation, but since the workshop was bobbi brown, i bought their foundation instead. You can get MUFE products from a department stores such as sogo, metro or seibu (ind). You can also get it from sephora.com or makeupforever.com

6. YSL (Yves Saint Laurent's makeup line)
YSL is famous of it's luxurious products. Their best seller is Touche Éclat Radiant Touch which is a luminizing pen that brings light and radiance to the skin, immediately erases any signs of fatigue, and brightens the complexion. But what i love the most about YSL are the ROUGE VOLUPTÉ Lipstick, the formula is luxuriously soft and smooth.
