I've been meaning to do this review for quite a while now. Since most of you know, matte liquid lipstick has been a trend especially in 2016. From tons of kinds and brands to choose from, my hands down favorite is the Australis Velourlips Matte Lip Cream. Australis is an Australian brand (obviously), i got it from my cousin who went there last year. It is very affordable for as low as $7.
The texture is very creamy, very applicable to the lips. It's smooth and not overly drying in my opinion. However it is hard to apply multiple coats due to its thickness, as you can see below is a double coat and some areas are not as pigmented as the other ones, especially for the darker colors.

The packaging very simple and sleek. Just like other liquid lipsticks, the wand is very similar to Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream, for me i'm not a big fan of wands like this just because it's stiff, i like the longer flexible one like Sleek Matte Me.

I am planning on buying other darker colors (yes i'm one of those people who are obsessed with dark lipsticks simply because nudes are not my colors). If you do want to try it out Australis came out with travel size set of 5 minis Velourlips, Nudes set and Darks set available.
